Congregational
Activities
Some activities that we engage in on a regular basis:
- Worship: Lay-led services three times a month; Kabbalat
Shabbat service with Rabbi; Full High Holy Days services
- Family Torah Group: Families with children ages 2-5, meets monthly in Center City families' homes — Call 215-629-1995 for more information
- Social Action: Committee meets
monthly to plan service projects
- Choir: Meets twice a month for rehearsals
- Bagels & Books: Salon-setting,
to enjoy Jewish stories and partake in brunch
- Educational Programs: Usually one topic per year,
led by Rabbi; i.e. Beginner's Hebrew, Life-Cycle events, etc.
- Retreat or Shabbaton: Held every year in February
- Passover Seder: annual Second-night Community seder
- Xmas Day Event: Annual Kugel & Comedy presentation
- Purim & Hanukkah Celebrations
