Global Day of Jewish Learning

This Sunday: The 2015 Global Day of Jewish Learning Live Stream
Forget the football game, this Sunday watch the Global Day of Jewish Learning instead. Set your channel—we mean, your computer browser—for either the whole day or for 1 p.m. Eastern time, when RRC professor Rabbi Joel Hecker, Ph.D., one of our many star professors, will be speaking. Some of us will be at Temple Beth El—the Reconstructionist congregation in Newark, Delaware—to see him in person. For everyone else, there’s the live stream, viewable from anywhere in the world, and here’s how. See you there!
Click here on Sunday, Nov 15th, at 1 p.m. Eastern time: Rabbi Joel Hecker, Ph.D., “A Kiss is Just a Kiss? Mystical Union, Personal Salvation, and World Redemption through Kabbalistic Kissing.”
View the entire schedule for the Global Day of Jewish Learning about love, including talks in English, Russian, French and Portuguese, on topics ranging from first love, dysfunctional Jewish families, Jewish love poems, becoming a soulful Jewish parent, and much more. At 3:30 p.m. Eastern time, there is a talk by the president of the American Jewish World Service (and Reconstructionist congregational member) Ruth Messinger, titled “Listen with a Loving Heart: A Recipe to Repair the World.”

Click on the links at the time of the talk, and the static screen will be replaced by the live stream.
Looking forward to learning together.
